Robert Chambers grew up within the grounds of Buckingham Palace with his father a Royal Coachman. As you can imagine, Robert was always around the horses & carriages playing & learning the do's & don'ts from a very early age. Always being interested in the goings on at the Royal stables did not go un-noticed by both the Royal staff & the Royal Family. At age 11 Robert was given the honor of being asked to help with the wedding of Prince Charles & Diana. Later Robert joined the ranks of the Royal staff full time, under the watchful eye's for many, many excellent horsemen & coachmen.

Robert had the opportunity over the years to learn and do so much and his natural passion for learning & teaching was polished into a bright future. Robert has trained many coaching teams both in his native England, in Europe & in the United States. His attention to the fine details of Coaching is reflected by only suffering "one" loss in his record of "Appointments class" considered a professionals best test as a Coachman/trainer.

In 2000 Robert opened his Tandem Hill Farm in Virginia,now relocating to Aiken SC area,Robert continues to work with horses, now raising and selling many fine driving equines to the general public. Robert's passion for teaching also thrives, as he often accepts clients for learning weekends and courses.
Robert 's true love of driving is best seen in his talent for Tandem driving, this is when one horse is driven in-front of another, considered to be one of the hardest & most complexes forms of driving multiple horses.
